DO YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER WITH US?  Please register your interest by emailing

We have a range of volunteering opportunities. Although you don’t need any knowledge of rivers or land management, you will need to be fairly fit.

Opportunities will exist during the week and at weekends so if you have a few hours to spare either weekly or monthly, we would love to hear from you.

Our primary project is the construction of Leaky Dams at Hardcastle Crags with the National Trust.  Training will be given and you will need to be able to walk some distance between sites.

Our next volunteer day is Sunday 14th January 2018 at 9.30am, to meet at the bottom car park at Hardcastle Crags.

Please contact to book your place and to help us manage numbers of volunteers.
